Aussie Q Resources (ASX: AQR) has announced that the preliminary results from diamond drill hole 10WW106D have revealed further copper and molybdenum mineralisation at the company’s Whitewash South Project (100% AQR owned Whitewash prospect EPM14628) in Southern Queensland.
The hole was drilled with an RC pre-collar to 242.7m and was diamond drilled from 242.7m to 645.7m.
The hole terminated at 645.7m, in mineralised micro granite, which was the depth limit of this particular drill rig.
Aussie Q Resources Executive Director of Exploration, John Goody, said “we are continuing to witness very strong results from the ongoing drilling program at Whitewash South, particularly at depth following recent drilling results."
"We have intersected broad zones of mineralisation, and a wide range of mineralised systems remains open in all directions,” Goody added.
Hole 106D encountered at least three types of mineralisation: crackle breccia from 131m to 613; molybdenum and copper stockwork from 13m to 645.7m; and potassic altered and mineralised granite from 404m to 592m.
