Accsys Technologies’ Titan Wood production facility increases capacity by 33 percent

Accsys Technologies PLC (AIM: AXS) said process improvements at the production facility of its Titan Wood subsidiary have increased capacity by more than 33 percent.

Titan Wood's commercial-scale Accoya wood modification facility was originally designed with an annual capacity of 30,000 cubic metres. Through a mixture of fundamental process improvement upgrades as well as optimising existing processes, the Arnhem, Netherlands, facility now has an interim design capacity of over 40,000 m3 per annum.

The additional wood output will help to meet the ever increasing demand from potential markets on behalf of licensees, Accsys said.
