Patagonia Gold's Cap Oeste gold-silver project shows persistent grades and widths at depth

The 14,677 metre drilling programme recently completed by Patagonia Gold on their El Tranquilo property in Argentina's Santa Cruz province has continued to show strong gold values at depth.

The chief target has been the Main Shoot on the Bonanza fault in the Cap Oeste zone, which hosts an NI 43-101 compliant resource of 304,099 ounces of gold and almost 7 million ounces of silver. All results have now been received, and the Main Shoot has been tracked down to 340 metres depth in hole CO-155-D, with a 1.6 m intersection returning 6.91 g/t Au and 230 g/t Ag. CO-155-D also returned 23 metres at 5.81 g/t Au from 260 metres, and 20.5 metres of 3.98 g/t starting at 330 metres depth. The results will form the basis of an upgraded resource statement due in the third quarter.

A further campaign starting in September will continue testing the deeper levels of the Main Shoot as well as exploring other semi-parallel shoots within the resource area.
