888 Holdings' (LSE: 888) business-to-business subsidiary Dragonfish has agreed to provide its online casino and poker software and support services to Greek digital media group Centric Multimedia SA (ATHENS: CNTR).Through its Lex Online Entertainment subsidiary, Centric is targeting the South and Eastern European market, which it believes has significant potential for online gaming.
Lex will launch online gaming in a variety of languages, and Dragonfish will supply the casino and poker software, back office technology, fraud and risk management, e-payments processing systems and customer support.
Centric recently reported a 29.5% increase in turnover for the 9 months ending 30 September 2009 to €546.7m. The Athens headquartered company said it has a strong track record in diversifying into new growth sectors and driving entry into new markets.
