Metaliko Resources' (ASX: MKO) substantial shareholder Tyson Resources increased its interest in the company to 15.08%.
Tyson acquired an additional 1.1 million shares for a consideration of A$61,490 between 13 December 2011 and 4 January 2012.
Metaliko is in an interesting position having recently entered a new mining and treatment joint venture agreement with Kalgoorlie Mining Company (ASX: KMC) that will see Metaliko realise early cashflows from the Anthill Gold Project.
Kalgoorlie Mining will process ore from Metaliko’s Anthill Mine at its Bullant treatment plant when it becomes operational in the December quarter of 2012.
