RESAAS Services (CNSX:RSS) has inked a new service agreement with Century 21 In Town Realty, adding yet another real estate firm to its social network for real estate professionals.
The news comes just days after RESAAS announced a new deal with Southern California real estate firm Star Real Estate South County to join its platform.
The social network for real estate professionals, mortgage specialists, home buyers and sellers is designed to enable real-time updating of property listings as well as the ability to sync with social media sites such as Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) and Twitter.
The company achieved a number of milestones in 2012, including a deal to work with The Residential Group Realty (TRG Realty) of Vancouver. TRG Realty, a real estate agency, started in April 2006, and has become one of the fastest growing companies in the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver.
Downtown Vancouver-based Century 21 In Town Realty provides real estate services for clients, whether a first time home buyer or someone looking to sell their property. RESAAS noted that the firm is downtown Vancouver’s largest real estate office, and Canada's "number one" office in British Columbia.
It is made up of around 7,000 independently owned and operated franchised broker offices in 73 countries and territories around the world, and represented by 100,000 real estate professionals.
When using RESAAS, all of the firm's agents will receive their own corporate branded agent pages, and the agency will have a branded news page in order to broadcast information and remain in constant contact with the members of Century 21 that are a part of RESAAS' social network.
“As an industry leader, Century 21 In Town Realty understands the importance of offering their agents the most advanced enterprise social network,” said senior exec of sales at RESAAS, Padraig Cullen, in a statement late Monday.
"It is evident that Michael La Prairie, Owner of Century 21 In Town, is aware that social networking and business have become tightly intertwined.”
In one of its most notable achievements last year, RESAAS received approval to include its real estate Q&A app in Microsoft's Window's 8 App Store. The company's platform is also available for Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone and for Google's (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android operating system for smartphones.
The company also welcomed Summit Realty Group to the its platform in 2012, a full-service, commission brokerage specializing in residential real estate throughout the U.S.
