Energy Ventures prioritising new targets after survey identifies uranium anomalies in U.S.

Energy Ventures (ASX: EVE) airborne surveys have identified some additional new uranium exploration targets at the Aurora uranium project in Oregon and the Maybell uranium project in Colorado, USA.

The surveys covered a total of around 6,000 line kilometres using a 100 metre line spacing and nominal 50 metre sensor height.

The outcome for Energy Ventures is the identification of anomalies on both the current project areas, and additional ground.

The company is already conducting further ground staking to secure these priority exploration targets.

The survey also defined numerous other radiometric anomalies that indicate radiogenic rocks at or near surface, which Energy Ventures said analysis of the uranium channel from radiometric data indicates that these anomalies are principally associated with elevated levels of uranium.

Most importantly - a drilling plan is being designed to for potential repetitions of known uranium deposits in both project areas.

The Aurora uranium deposit already hosts a 38 million pounds eU3O8 resource which comprises Indicated 36.7 million pounds at 253 ppm eU3O8, and Inferred 1.2 million pounds eU3O8 at 151 ppm eU3O8.

In total Energy Ventures has secured five quality uranium exploration and development projects being:

– Aurora Deposit, Oregon
– Virgin Valley project, Nevada
– Maybell project, Colorado
– Skull Creek project, Colorado
– Coyote Basin project, Colorado

All projects have significant historical exploration and current or historical resources defined.
