Investigator Resources queried on price jump and massive volume increase

Investigator Resources’ (ASX: IVR) 15% rise over one day has earned the company a price and volume query from the ASX.

The company closed at A$0.19 on Thursday January 12, but hit an intraday high of A$0.225 on Friday January 13.

This was accompanied by an increase in volume from 16,785 on the 12th to 4.372 million on the 13th.

Investigator responded to the ASX saying that it was not aware of any unannounced information or other reason that could explain the recent trading.

The company confirmed that it was in compliance with Listing Rule 3.1.

In December last year, Investigator intersected three visual intervals of sulphide mineralisation from the first two holes at the Paris silver prospect.

The two diamond holes were following up previous stunning high grade silver intersections of up to 3,970 grams per tonne (g/t) silver announced at the prospect in October.
