Peninsula Energy executive director tops up shareholding

Peninsula Energy (ASX: PEN) executive director – finance and operations Malcolm James has increased his stake in the company, taking up 1 million shares.

James purchased the shares on market at a price of about $0.038 per share, for a total consideration of $38,041.80.

This brings James’ total shareholding to about 17 million shares, along with a number of listed options exercisable at $0.03 on or before June 30, 2012.

Peninsula Energy recently completed a Definitive Feasibility Study for its Ross uranium project, along with the Expanded Economic Study for the Lance uranium project, both located in Wyoming, U.S.

The results from these studies are expected to allow Peninsula to gain project funding and become a uranium producer in 2013.
