Serica Energy’s (TSX-V, AIM:SQZ) Chief Executive Paul Ellis, Finance Director Chris Hearne and Chief Operating Office Pater Sandler all acquired shares in the company yesterday at price of 70 pence per share.
Ellis acquired 20,915 shares, taking his holding to 870,915 shares, or 0.49% of the company. Hearne snapped up 18,824 shares taking his interest in the company to 0.41%, or 729,375 shares, and Sadler acquired 20,915 shares which was hit first share purchase and represents his total beneficial holding.
Earlier this month Serica confirmed that it had reached an agreement with fellow North Sea focused oil company, Premier Oil (LSE: PMO) who will finance the cost of an exploration well on Serica Energy’s Block 22/19c in the United Kingdom’s Central North Sea in return for a 50% interest in the block.
