Spectrum Interactive signs 5-year London City Airport contract-extension
Spectrum Interactive (AIM: SIN) has signed a new five year contract-extension with London City Airport to provide internet desks and payphones. Spectrum has operations in 24 UK airports, more than 70 motorway services, and also in 40 other locations including marinas, bus and coach stations across the UK.
“We have worked closely with London City airport to maximise further new locations pre-security, and in the airside lounge”, Head of Spectrum's Travel Division, Daniel Gray, said. “The length of this agreement means we can concentrate on working with the airport to develop new services and thus new revenue streams. For example we have recently added full Skype & Google Talk instant messaging (IM) & voice services to our internet desks".
Last summer Spectrum re-organised its business into two distinct divisions, Travel and Hospitality. Each division operates its own commercial, marketing and product development teams, whilst they are jointly supported by Spectrum's nationwide engineering and operational network.
Through the Hospitality division Spectrum operates WiFi and Internet Desks in over 1,050 UK hotels, including key clients, the Travelodge and Premier Inn hotel chains.
