Vancouver-based PMI Gold Corp (CVE:PMV) (ASX:PVM) said Monday it has appointed several engineering and consultancy companies as key technical advisors for its pre-feasibility study on the Obotan gold project, located in southern Ghana, West Africa.
Each of the companies - GR Engineering Services, SRK Consulting, Knight Pi sold Consulting and CSAGlobal - will work towards ensuring PMI is on track for a resource upgrade at Obotan in September, with the release of the pre feasibility study scheduled for December.
PMI will have overall oversight of the pre-feasibility study, and will maintain operating responsibility, particular for ongoing resource drilling, metallurgical sampling, geotechnical sampling, permitting, environmental studies, among other responsibilities.
Currently, there are three diamond rigs working at Obotan, with an additional two set to come on stream within the coming months.
