Central African Mining & Exploration PLC (AIM: CFM) confirmed it has received preliminary approaches concerning a possible offer for the entire issued share capital of the group.
CAMEC made the statement in response to recent speculation concerning a possible offer for the entire share capital of CAMEC.
These preliminary approaches may or may not lead to an offer being made for the company.
Camec added this announcement has not been made with the agreement or approval of the potential offerors and there can be no certainty that an offer will be made or as to the terms on which any offer might be made.
