Publisher Dods (LON:DODS) has confirmed that it has received a takeover approached from a “number of third parties” after it was reported by the media, saying the talks “may or may not lead” to an offer for the company.
Dods, formerly known as Huveaux, reported revenues of £25.3 million and earnings of £3.8 million for the full year 2009 back in March. The company said that organic growth in the Political division was strong and online and events portfolio improved.
The company’s Education division was sold to fellow publisher HarperCollins for £10 million in March this year.
