iSonea launches into U.S. market with American Depositary Receipts

iSonea (ASX: ISN, OTCQX: ISOAY) will begin trading the company’s American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) on the OTCQX International marketplace in the United States today (U.S. January 3, 2012).

Medical technology company iSonea is focused on developing innovative monitoring systems and software for the management of asthma.

The company is currently working on the development and launch of the first Acoustic Respiratory Monitoring devices, which allow for the monitoring of breathing systems anywhere, any time.

iSonea principally trades on the Australian Securities Exchange, however the new listing offers greater access to U.S.-based markets.

“Trading on the OTCQX marketplace is an important milestone for iSonea’s continued growth,” iSonea CEO Michael Thomas said.

“We will now have greater visibility among U.S.-based investors, enabling them to support our commercial development efforts and participate in the progress of the company.”

A greater presence in the U.S. market offers iSonea an opportunity to address unmet needs in the rapidly growing asthma market, both in the U.S. and worldwide.
