Digital Shelf Space’s GSP RUSHFIT grabs No. 2 spot on Amazon.com’s top rated product list

Digital Shelf Space Corp. (CVE:DSS) reported on Tuesday that its GSP RUSHFIT DVD series reached the No. 2 spot on Amazon.com’s exercise and fitness top rated product list last Wednesday.

The company’s home workout GSP RUSHFIT series, which features Mixed Martial Arts welterweight world champion George St- Pierre, has been listed on Amazon.com for less than five months.

The top 100 Amazon.com ratings list is based entirely on customer rating feedback scores, while the DVD series has achieved a perfect five star rating from customer reviews.

"We are extremely pleased by our success selling GSP RUSHFIT on Amazon.com and the tremendous feedback and enthusiasm from customers," Digital Shelf Space's chief executive Jeffrey Sharpe said in a statement.

"In addition, we're very pleased to see how quickly we've moved up the Amazon rankings and look forward to seeing our results
through 2012 and into the peak fitness season later this year."

The fitness series is in more than 90 countries around the world, through Digital Shelf Space’s global distribution agreement with Northern Response.

In Canada, the series is carried by major retailers like: Sears Canada (TSE:SCC), Wal-Mart (TSE:WMT), Future Shop, National Sports, Sport Check, Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) and Canadian Tire (TSE:CTC), and in the U.S. by The Sports Authority and Academy Sports and Outdoors.

In December, Digital Shelf Space announced a new long-term licence agreement with Georges St-Pierre for potential future fitness products and services under the RUSHFIT moniker.

The company also announced on Tuesday that 1991 British Open champion and 17-time winner on the PGA Tour Ian Baker-Finch will be the host of the TOURAcademyHome Edition DVD golf instructional series.

In early April, Digital Shelf Space signed an exclusive video production agreement with Golf Experiences, operator of the PGA Tour's TOURAcademy.

Digital Shelf Space is an independent creator, producer and distributor of home entertainment content targeted at the fitness and sports instruction market.
