RESAAS Services to power RE/MAX of New England Fall conference

RESAAS Services (CNSX:RSS) is partnering with RE/MAX of New England for the Fall Agent Conference this year. The parties will join forces to create a private group on RESAAS' social networking platform for the event.
"The RE/MAX of New England team is highly motivated to increase the social buzz around the conference and theRESAAS Platform will enhance our already existing social media efforts," said marketing communications manager at RE/MAX New England, Monica Nicholas.
The platform, designed to allow real-time updating of property listings as well as the ability to sync with social media sites such as Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) and Twitter, has already taken off in North America, where RESAAS has added a broker several times a month across Canada and the U.S. since opening for business at the start of the year.
The social network designed specifically for the real estate professional to connect and communicate in real-time allows for seamless real-time communication between real estate professionals on the go -- including for photos to be shared, news to be posted, and realtors to connect with other with real estate professionals on the RESAAS platform. The app automatically generates real estate workflow into social content known as ‘real estate broadcasts’ that is then instantly pushed out to the RESAAS platform and other social networks.
All attendees of the conference will receive profile pages onRESAAS, allowing them to connect with fellow event attendees and communicate with one another in advance of, during, and after the live event.
This is not the first high-profile industry affair to whichRESAAS was chosen to lend its social networking expertise -- as recently as earlier this month, the Vancouver-based social network was chosen to socially power the upcoming convention of the Illinois Association of Realtors in Chicago this fall.
The company was also picked to power Inman News' Real Estate Connect conference in San Francisco and the summit hosted by the Asian Real Estate Association (AREAA) of America in Vancouver this summer.
The 2013 RE/MAX of New England Fall Agent Conference, which will be held in Boston, Massachusetts on October 2, 2013, will host educational sessions including several industry speakers such as the creator of the RE/MAX Collection magazine, David Collins and Malcolm Hollensteiner, the director of retail lending sales at TD Bank.
"From our first contact with the team at RE/MAX, we have been impressed with their ideas for increasing the interaction at the show," said CMO of RESAAS, Michael St. Hilaire. "We are excited to work with such a forward-thinking team in bringing RESAAS to RE/MAX of New England."
Since its inception in 1985, RE/MAX of New England has grown to over 220 offices and 2,700 sales associates throughout Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont, providing residential and commercial real estate services.
