NF Energy Saving Corporation (OTCBB: NFEC) has been recognised as one of the top Chinese energy service companies at an industry forum in Beijing. The company said in a statement it was presented with the "2009 Top 20 ESCO in China" award.
The award was presented at the recent China ESCO Industry Annual Meeting & China Energy Forum held in Beijing.
Headquartered in Shenyang city, NF Energy NF provides energy conservation services and products, which utilize its specialist energy-saving equipment and technical services. The company has several proprietary energy saving technologies and patents, including flow control systems and wind turbine components.
The current revenues are primarily from its energy saving flow control products. The company currently has 220 employees.
Last month, NF Energy said it won bidding on Phase III of a large ultra-supercritical coal power plant in Zhejiang province. It will supply 6 sets of DN2200 fluid-control butterfly valve to the project, and expects to recognize revenue from the deal of US$550,000 in the third quarter of 2010.
This power plant is one of China's new ultra-supercritical coal power plants being built to replace smaller, more polluting and inefficient coal power plants.
Also in January, it delivered 24 sets of its newly developed DN3600 ductile iron butterfly valve to a large water supply project in Guangzhou, the provincial capital of Guangdong in Southern China.
