Millrock Resources (CVE:MRO) has received a favourable mention in the July edition of Brien Lundin's Gold Newsletter.
The
company is a premier project generator to the mining industry. Millrock
currently has twelve active exploration projects, eight gold-copper
properties in Alaska, and four porphyry copper prospects in Arizona.
In June, Millrock inked an options deal with Vale Exploration in a bid to find large-scale copper-gold porphyry deposits at the AUDN project in Alaska.
These
porphyry deposits in target zones were identified by Millrock. This is
just the first "designated project" under their partnership, the
companies’ said in a statement.
"Millrock remains a solid, long-term play on rising gold and commodities prices," Lundin wrote in the latest newsletter.
Overall,
Millrock expects to see $11 million spent on the exploration of its
projects in 2012, and its joint venture partners will
cover 90 per
cent of that total. That budget will encompass drilling campaigns on six
different Millrock-controlled projects, and earlier-stage exploration
work on several others. This latter effort will attempt to outline
drill-worthy targets for 2013 drilling programs.
"This prospect generator consistently attracts quality JV partners like Inmet and Vale,
and that fact alone speaks volumes about this junior’s ability to find
and fund projects of merit in its core exploration areas," Lundin wrote.
