Mobile business apps company TrueContext Mobile Solutions
(CVE:TMN) said Thursday it has published a case study on how its
ProntoForms app has "improved the quality control and customer service
procedures" of global pest control business RentoKil.
"We have
an excellent QA program that evaluates the work of our team, but the
administration side simply couldn't keep up," explains Rentokil North
American director of customer service, Paul Kamzelski.
"Each
operation manager had to spend a couple of hours inputting audit
information every week from paper forms; it wasn't easy to get them to
buy in.
"Our team has really taken to using ProntoForms. Morale
has also improved, as ProntoForms has led to workers being more willing
to go ahead and conduct audits."
Indeed, the ProntoForms mobile
app does away with paperwork and redundant data entry, allowing field
workers to fill business forms out of the office from all major device
platforms such as Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPad, RIM's (NASDAQ:RIMM)(TSE:RIM) Blackberry, Google's (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android platform and Microsoft's (NASDAQ:MSFT) Windows Mobile platform.
The
simple to add app, is meant to improve overall business productivity,
and allows users in the field to create forms, generate reports, as well
as capture signatures and photos within minutes.
The app is used by more than 1,800 businesses, and is connected to back office systems.
RentoKil
has a presence in over 40 countries through its multiple brands in the
pest control industry. The firm conducts thorough account audits that
require extensive data record-keeping, TrueContext said.
"The
Rentokil case study is a prime example of how ProntoForms can
accomplish these elements for big business," said TrueContext CEO and
founder, Alvaro Pombo.
"Rentokil, like many global enterprises,
was considering a custom-built MEAP (Mobile Enterprise Application
Platform) solution. However, the complexity and costs of building and
maintaining a solution to adapt to different departments across a global
operation are staggering, as compared to a customizable, packaged
solution like ProntoForms."
The company said that
enterprise size businesses often deploy ProntoForms within a division or
specific function to demonstrate initial ROI.
"Once deployed,
ProntoForms typically experiences growth within existing accounts,
prompting divisional and operations executives to rapidly deploy it into
other business segments."
