Natural Resources USA (OTC:NTRC) said Tuesday that its subsidiary Natural Soda, North America's second largest producer of baking soda, has launched a community support program in northwest Colorado.
Under the program, Natural Soda will make small financial contributions to local community, charity, sporting and not-for profit organizations to support a particular cause or event, the company said.
CEO and chairman of Natural Resources, Bill Gunn said the company is searching for new ways to improve community relationships, "through the ideas and insights of local people and organizations".
“Natural Soda has been a strong job provider in the local community for nearly three decades, but we are now in a position where we are looking to extend our commitment to the community,” he added.
The aim is to build the program every year. Natural Soda is currently looking for organizations interested in the first round of contributions. The ‘Expression of Interest’ Document required to apply, is available for download via the website http://www.naturalresourcescorp.com/community.
Proposals received past Friday 12th August will not be considered for the first round of contributions, it said.
