Crude oil and natural gas explorer WesternZagros Resources (CVE:WZR) says its chief executive Simon Hatfield will attend two industry conferences slated for this month to discuss oil production from the extended well test program and drilling activity.
WesternZagros, who announced the news after markets closed Thursday, said the first symposium will be held in Calgary, at the Morgan Stanley Conference Centre on November 8 at 4 p.m.
In addition, Hatfield will also present on Thursday, November 10 at 11:30 a.m. at the New York Society of Security Analysis conference, in New York.
Both presentations will be made available on the company’s website on the day each conference is held, the company said in a statement.
WesternZagros is an international natural resources business engaged in the exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in Iraq. It holds two production sharing contracts with the Kurdistan Regional Government, in Iraq.
The Calgary-based company saw its stock climb 3.80 percent to 82 cents a share Friday afternoon on Toronto’s main trading index.
