Integra Mining (ASX: IGR) has appointed Stephanie Unwin, a commercial lawyer with a corporate/resources background, as a non-executive director.
Unwin is currently general counsel and company secretary for Verve Energy and non-executive director of Alacer Gold.
Importantly for Integra, Unwin has had significant experience providing corporate advisory services to predominantly resource companies, including advising on takeovers, acquisitions, fundraising, initial public offerings and ASX and ASIC compliance matters.
She is experienced in major energy projects with related project financing, joint venture and shareholder contractual negotiations.
Unwin replaces Richard Maltman who resigned from the Integra board. Maltman has been a director of the company since November 2009.
Integra is in an interesting position as its gold deposits at Cock-eyed Bob, Santa and Maxwells continue to emerge as potential future sources of high-grade underground and open pit material for the Randalls Gold Project in Western Australia.
Earlier this week the company announced it has intersected further high grade gold mineralisation from reverse circulation drilling within the banded iron formation hosted Santa Trend, which continues at depth and along strike.
