Aurium Resources welcomes new non-executive director

Aurium Resources (ASX: AGU) has appointed Michael Keemink to the board as a non-executive director.

Keemink has been a self-employed business owner since 1996, and director of his own private company since 2002.

He has extensive experience and knowledge in the financial sector and has particular strengths in financial strategy, strategy implementation, negotiation and mediation.

Keemink replaces Brenton James Lewis who has resigned as a non-executive director.

Keemink’s appointment strengthens the board’s existing skill set at a time when Aurium is expanding its direct shipping ore targeted exploration at the Peak Hill Iron Project joint venture in the mid-west region of Western Australia.

Earlier this month the company received government approvals to expand its exploration program at Peak Hill which will focus on an area known as Mt Padbury in a maiden campaign.

Providing a boost to the prospectivity of the area, geological mapping has delineated iron ore targets with potentially significant platy hematite-goethite mineralisation.
