ABM Resources delivers 87m at 1.13g/t gold near 1.67moz Buccaneer Porphyry Deposit

ABM Resources (ASX: ABU) continues to discover gold over a broad area at the Twin Bonanza Gold Camp Project, with the latest highlights coming from the Caribbean and Cypress Zones.

These zones are extremely important as they are positioned along the western margin of the Buccaneer Porphyry body which hosts the 1.67 million gold ounce Buccaneer Porphyry Deposit.

This provides the opportunity that the latest gold discoveries to extend and increase the gold resource in the future.

From the Cypress Zone, reverse circulation highlights include 87 metres at 1.13 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 196 metres, including 29 metres at 2.45g/t gold, and
8 metres at 7.43g/t gold.

At the Caribbean Zone, reverse circulation drilling intercepted 22 metres at 3.95g/t gold, including 12 metres at 5.98g/t gold.

Darren Holden, managing director, said that the results from Cypress are comparable in width and grade to the main Buccaneer resource area, as well as high grade gold with assays up to 23.7g/t gold.

Investors will be familiar with Twin Bonanza due to recent exploration success at the Old Pirate prospect, which is less than two kilometres south of the Buccaneer Porphyry.

Announced just last week from Old Pirate, results from the phase 3 bulk trenching program averaged 29.77g/t gold over a combined vein strike length of 155 metres, in an area 100 metres south of previously reported veins.

The peak assay returned from the phase 3 program was an impressive 215g/t gold.

These results build on the phase 1 and 2 trenching programs which had similar results, with the three phases combined equalling a combined total strike length of 582 metres and a weighted average of 23.98g/t gold.
