Kasbah Resources extends tin mineralisation between east and west resources at Achmmach

Kasbah Resources (ASX: KAS) has extended tin mineralisation 240 metres east of the existing Meknes Resource at the Achmmach Tin Project in Morocco.

Drilling in the Gap Zone has identified continuing Meknes mineralisation, with potential to link resources in the Meknes Zone with resources in the Eastern Zone.

The third step out section completed in the Gap Zone is located 240 metres east of the last Meknes drill section included in the Resources Update in 2010.

Mineralisation in this section remains open up dip and at depth.

Recent intersections include:

- 7 metres at 1.07% tin from 220 metres;
- 26 metres at 0.96% tin from 249 metres, including 10 metres at 1.63% tin; and
- 31 metres at 0.63% tin from 259 metres, including 7 metres at 1.6% tin.

Results for a further four drill holes are pending.

Intersections below the main Meknes mineralisation in this and two other sections indicate that there is potential to delineate another zone of tin mineralisation below the Meknes zone.

Drilling at Achmmach is continuing, with five rigs in operation. Drilling on 80 metre spaced sections in the Gap Zone is almost complete, with 40 metre spaced drill sections beginning/

Meanwhile, drilling on the 105 magnetic azimuth within the 2010 Meknes Resource is continuing.

The Achmmach project contains one of the largest undeveloped tin deposits in the world, with a JORC Resource of 7 million tonnes at 0.8% tin, with a cut-off grade of 0.5%, for 54,000 tonnes contained tin.

This comprises an Indicated Resource of 2.2 million tonnes at 0.8% tin, and an Inferred Resource of 4.8 million tonnes at 0.8% tin.

Kasbah is targeting an upgrade to the Achmmach resource by the March quarter of 2012.
