The Residential Group Realty to join RESAAS Services' social network

Real estate social network RESAAS Services (CNSX:RSS) has struck a deal to work with The Residential Group Realty (TRG Realty) of Vancouver.
TRG Realty, a real estate agency, started in April 2006, and has become one of the fastest growing companies in the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver.
RESAAS noted that the five owners of TRG have more than 98 years of combined involvement in real estate sales in the Vancouver area.
“TRG Realty is a proven leader in the Greater Vancouver region and we are looking forward to working with them,” said senior executive of sales at RESAAS, Padraig Cullen.
“Their dynamic and industry- leading executive team understands the importance of business social networking and how RESAAS will empower all of their agents to network and procure more business deals.
"Additionally, TRG Realty understands the importance of helping their agents stay up to date with social media by providing the company with a real estate social network that offers innovative social media technology, mobile applications and software support.”
Indeed, RESAAS is a social network for real estate professionals, mortgage specialists as well as home buyers and sellers. Designed as a professional networking platform for North America's 3 million real estate professionals, the company enables real-time updating of property listings as well as the ability to sync with social media sites such as Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) and Twitter.
Real-time updates are one aspect of what sets RESAAS part from sites such as the Canadian Real Estate Association's Multiple Listing Service (MLS) website, where it can take a number of days for new listings to appear.
Under the deal, TRG Realty agents will have their own corporate branded agent pages on RESAAS, and will also have a TRG Realty News page in order to broadcast information and remain in constant contact with its corporate social network on RESAAS
“TRG Realty is known for their innovation. They are continually looking for technologies that will give their agents a competitive edge,” said COO of RESAAS, Michael St. Hilaire. “Social lead generation is a key element in their marketing plan and they immediately saw the value of RESAAS.”
Managing broker at TRG, Rick Valouche, added: "We look forward to being on the cutting edge of technology with our clients and agents in order to network and communicate in real-time." Valouche is also the past president of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) and the British Columbia Real Estate Association (BCREA).
RESAAS received in August early approval to include their Real Estate Q&A app in Microsoft's Window's 8 App Store.
The company's platform is also available for Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone and for Google's (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android operating system for smartphones.
Earlier this week, the real estate social network added IT industry expert Pierre Chadi to its advisory board. Chadi is a senior executive with over 25 years of enterprise sales experience in the IT industry covering hardware, software, business solutions and professional consulting in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto.
More recently, he was Eastern Canada director of enterprise and public sales at Microsoft
