Great Quest Metals elects new member to board

Canada-based Great Quest Metals (CVE:GQ) reported Monday that shareholders appointed Gordon R. Peeling as a new member to its board of directors at the annual general meeting of shareholders.
During the meeting, the board was increased to seven members as a result, with all existing directors reappointed. Peeling was also appointed to the Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee.
Also, the company provided an update of its Mali properties. Drilling continues on both the Tilemsi phosphate project in eastern Mali and the company’s Sanoukou gold project in western Mali, where six of a 16 hole core drilling program are underway. Over 100 holes have been completed on the Alfatchafa and Tin Hina target areas in Tilemsi, the company said.
Among other resolutions adopted at the annual general meeting, shareholders approved and ratified the Great Quest Metals stock option plan, it said.
Great Quest Metals has properties located in Mali, West Africa, and Canada.
