Prophecy Platinum Corp. (CVE:NKL) has appointed a new board director and beefed-up management with a slew of promotions, the company said Tuesday.
Wesley
J. Hall, who brings nearly 20 years worth of experience in corporate
governance and shareholder communications, was promoted to the board of
director.
Hall, also a chairman of Difference Capital Funding,
was a founding board member and longest serving president of the
Canadian Society of Corporate Secretaries.
The second promotion
will see Neil Froc as project manager. Froc has a geological engineering
degree from the University of Saskatchewan and brings over 25 years
worth of experience.
Since 1980, Froc has been involved in numerous stages of precious metals, base metals and industrial mineral exploration.
Besides
resource estimation and project resource development, Froc has
significant proven expertise relating to socio-economic project
development and First Nations engagement.
Meanwhile, Shawn
Rodeck has also been promoted to the position of manager of legal
affairs. With 13 plus years of international experience in the mineral
exploration sector, Rodeck has consulted and also held senior management
positions.
Before joining Prophecy, Rodeck was the director of corporate and legal affairs for the Minco Group of Companies.
Prophecy Platinum
also announced on Tuesday Donald Gee resigned from his post as board of
director. Patrick Langlois, too, resigned as vice president of
corporate development.
Shares, in late morning trade, slipped to $1.15 apiece on the TSX Venture Exchange.
