Tethys Petroleum bolsters finance team


Central Asian oil explorer Tethys Petroleum (LON:TPL,TSE:TPL) has promoted Denise Lay to the role of deputy chief financial officer with immediate effect.
It is a step-up for Lay, who was previously vice president finance. Her promotion comes as part of the company’s ongoing strengthening of its finance team.
An accountant by trade, Lay has been with the company since October 2009, having worked at KPMG, as well as in a number of different industries, including the oil and gas space.
Executive chairman and president of Tethys Dr David Robson said: “I am delighted that Denise is being promoted to Deputy CFO with Tethys.
“She has shown herself to be an extremely competent, professional, skilled and committed senior member of the Tethys team since she joined the company and I am sure that in this new role she will continue to excel and contribute to Tethys’ future growth and development.
