RESAAS appeal spreads to the eastern U.S. with addition of Rhode Island real estate agency

The appeal of Vancouver-based social network RESAASServices (CNSX:RSS) is spreading to the eastern U.S., withRESAAS just adding Rhode Island-based Future Properties to its platform specifically geared towards real estate professionals.
The move follows the addition of its first Michigan broker, 3 Tier Real Estate, to its network last week.
Future Properties is a real estate company that provides property management, sales and debt relief for clients throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The company also provides education in the real estate field with weekly classes that train people to become real estate agents in the states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
“Tina Adams, President/Broker at Future Properties, has 28 years of experience in the real estate market,” said VP of sales at RESAAS, Padraig Cullen, in the release late Wednesday.
“As the Rhode Island real estate market begins to see higher sales volumes in certain regions, Tina understands that the Generation Y consumers are entering the market with a reliance on social networking.
"RESAAS will empower the Future Properties team to streamline their social strategy and connect with the Generation Y consumers on our real estate social network.”
RESAAS, a social network designed specifically for the real estate professional to connect and communicate in real-time, offers each Future Properties agent his or her own corporate branded agent page. The firm will also have access to a page specifically dedicated to Future Properties, from which staff can broadcast information and thus remain in constant contact with team members.
RESAAS's social network is designed to allow real-time updating of property listings as well as the ability to sync with social media sites such as Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) and Twitter. Known as real estate broadcasts, RESAAS' reblasts engine automatically generates all of an agency's real estate workflow into social content that is instantly pushed out to the RESAAS platform and other social networks.
The Rhode Island firm is only the most recent addition to the social network, which has already proved popular with real estate agencies in the West, having added several new members in the area since its opening in January. The platform has added such names as Southern California-based Summit Realty Group, Star Real Estate, Modern Realty, Vernazza Realty, Parker Properties, OC Homes Realty, Century 21 Showcase and Century 21 Adobe Realty -- all in California, to name a few.
The new addition also comes at a white hot moment for the social network - coming as it does the month after RESAAS announced its selection as the preferred social networking partner for HousingWire’s Real Estate Expo in June. The network for real estate professionals to connect and communicate in real-time was also just chosen as the social network for the upcoming MREDpalooza event, hosted by MRED, Chicagoland's multiple listing real estate service.
