Predictive Discovery defines 16km strike length at West African gold project

Predictive Discovery (ASX: PDI) continues to advance the company's understanding of the Bonsiega Project joint venture - which is located in the West African country of Burkina Faso.

Predictive has now received the majority of assays from the Laterite Hill Grid power auger program, which is positioned within Bonsiega, which combined have identified a 16 kilometre long strike.
The strike comprises power auger anomalies exceeding 50ppb gold.

The company's exploration strategy is to use power auger drilling to map the extent of the gold anomalies, and then follow up high priority targets with reverse circulation drilling.

Paul Roberts, managing director, said "It is now clear that the thin alluvial cover over most of this area conceals a very extensively gold mineralised system, the limits of which have yet to be defined.

"Given that Predictive’s recent reverse circulation drilling on only 2km of bedrock gold anomalies has already yielded a series of very encouraging drill results, the potential for making a substantial gold discovery on the Bonsiega project continues to be enhanced.”

Highlighting the potential of the project, recent results from the Dave and Dave East prospects include:

- 46 metres at 1.7 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 22 metres, including 26 metres at 2.7g/t gold;
- 46 metres at 1.4g/t gold from 16 metres, including 8 metres at 4.0g/t gold; and
- 14 metres at 3.7g/t gold from 66 metres.

Drilling at Bonsiega will kick-off again in November after the wet-season, and will comprise an extensive program including 18,000 metres of reverse circulation and 3,000 metres of diamond drilling - with a substantial portion of the drilling targeting the Laterite Hill Grid.

The Bonsiega joint venture

Bonsiega is a joint venture with ElDore Mining Corporation (ASX: EDM), where Predictive earlier in the month reached a major milestone in passing A$2 million in expenditure.

ElDore Mining will now ensure that shares amounting to 60% of Birrimian Pty Ltd (BPL) are issued to Predictive - with Birrimian the owner of the four permits subject to the farm-in.

A formal joint venture between ElDore Mining and Predictive will now be established - and ElDore Mining will then be able to decide whether to contribute funds to the ongoing exploration program, or dilute its interest.

The project covers 60 square kilometres including a series of large shear zones interpreted from aeromagnetic data, some of which coincide with extensive weathered bedrock gold anomalies.
