Snipp announces shuffle at the top as CFO resigns


Toronto-based mobile marketing firm Snipp Interactive(CVE:SPN) announced a shuffle in senior management today, with CFO Anthony Durkacz resigining and current VP of finance, Jaisun Garcha, taking his place.
The company said Durkacz resigned as CFO, effective February 3, to become president of Capital Ideas Investor Relations.
He will, however, become a board member of Snipp, pending any necessary approvals, bringing the total number of board members to five. 
"Snipp is well positioned in the high growth mobile marketing industry. I'm excited to continue to assist Snipp into its next phase of growth," said Durkacz in a statement.
The news comes a day after the mobile marketing services firm said that Earth Innovations Inc. will adopt its mobile solutions for the company's EcoTraction product - an eco-friendly alternative to toxic road salt.
Snipp's "Mobilize Me" platform now includes three mobile specific solutions - response, infrastructure and validation - which collectively allow brands to interact with their customers through mobile across the entire purchase lifecycle.
Earth Innovations said it will adopt Snipp's response & infrastructure solutions for all of its EcoTraction product packaging sold through retail outlets in North America. 
Snipp provides print publishers, advertising agencies and corporate/consumer brands with a full suite of mobile marketing services in North America. 
Headquartered in Washington, D.C. and established in 2007, the company has provided its services to several Fortune 500 companies and other major brands, advertising agencies and publishers, including Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT), ESPN, Time Inc, Ford (NYSE:F), Nike (NYSE:NKE), Wendy's (NASDAQ:WEN) and Campbell Soup (NYSE:CPB).
