Antrim Energy production shut-in for maintenance

Antrim Energy (LON:AEY) (TSE:AEN) has told investors that scheduled maintenance work is now underway on the North Cormorant platform.
Consequently production from the firm’s Causeway (35.5% owned) and Cormorant East (8.4%) fields are shut-in.
The disruption is expected to run for six weeks.
Antrim also highlighted that output from Causeway will subsequently rise with the start up of electrical submersible pumps which will be deployed soon after production restarts.
Later, water injection operations are planned in the second half of next year.
