RESAAS chosen to power RE/MAX Day of Distinction

RESAAS Services (CNSX:RSS) (OTCMKTS:RSASF), has been chosen by RE/MAX of Indiana to create a private social network for their RE/MAX Day of Distinction this September, the Vancouver-based social network for real estate professionals announced Thursday.
RE/MAX of Indiana, the regional office for franchises of real estate giant RE/MAX throughout Indiana, expects more than 500 agents and brokers from all corners of the state to attend the educational and networking event. The presence of real estate guru and master negotiator, David Knox as Keynote Speaker at this year’s event has heightened expectations even further.
Speakers, sponsors, attendees and affiliates of the 2013 RE/MAX Day of Distinction will be provided profile pages onRESAAS, and will be networked together into a private group to communicate and share information in advance of, during, and after the live event. “We are very excited to have RESAASpower our RE/MAX Day of Distinction event,” said director of regional operations at RE/MAX, Stacy Gillen. “The use of a dedicated social network for real estate professionals will add great value to our event by keeping everybody connected in an online social setting.”
This is not the first high-profile industry affair RESAAS was chosen to lend its social networking expertise to – as recently as late August the company announced it was partnering with RE/MAX of New England for the Fall Agent Conference this year, joining forces to create a private group on RESAAS' social networking platform for the event. That news came a matter of days after the company announced it had been selected to power the convention of the Illinois Association of Realtors in Chicago this fall.
RESAAS’ platform, designed to allow real-time updating of property listings as well as the ability to sync with social media sites such as Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) and Twitter, has already taken off in North America, where RESAAS  has added a broker several times a month across Canada and the U.S. since opening for business at the start of the year.
RESAA, a real estate social network designed specifically for the real estate professional to connect and communicate in real-time allows for seamless real-time communication between real estate professionals on the go -- including for photos to be shared, news to be posted, and realtors to connect with other with real estate professionals on the RESAAS platform. The app automatically generates real estate workflow into social content known as ‘real estate broadcasts’ that is then instantly pushed out to the RESAASplatform and other social networks.
“We are looking forward to showcasing RESAAS to RE/MAX of Indiana and working with their brokers and agents to maximize their social presence,” said CMO of RESAAS, Michael St. Hilaire.
