RESAAS Services adds Montreal's Profusion Realty to its real estate social network

Real estate social network RESAAS Services (CNSX:RSS) has inked yet another service agreement as its platform continues to catch on, this time adding Montreal-based real estate firm Profusion Realty.
Profusion Realty is known for its work in the high-end real estate market in the Greater Montreal Area.
An exclusive affiliate of Christie's International Real Estate, Profusion Realty was presented the Medium-Market "Affiliate of the Year" title at its Global Annual Conference in London in September 2011, RESAAS noted.
Christie's International is the largest worldwide network of independent real estate brokers. Its network exhibits more than 120 real estate firms with over 900 offices and roughly 35,000 sales associates.
"Profusion Realty is very excited to start using RESAAS - this new tool which I am sure will be great at helping brokers collaborate with each other on a local level, but also on the national and international levels," said president of Profusion, Louise Remillard.
"As soon as RESAAS was proposed to us, I knew immediately that this is what we needed in order to set ourselves apart in the real estate social network. It creates great communication within an agency, as well as gives real estate brokers countless opportunities to succeed, communicate and keep up with news related to their respective real estate market.
"As leaders in luxury real estate for the Greater Montreal area, we needed something that would enhance our high-end marketing plan, and we believe to have found what we are looking for."
RESAAS Services is a social network for real estate professionals, mortgage specialists, home buyers and sellers. The network is designed to enable real-time updating of property listings as well as the ability to sync with social media sites such as Facebook(NASDAQ:FB) and Twitter.
Real-time updates are one aspect of what sets RESAAS part from sites such as the Canadian Real Estate Association's Multiple Listing Service (MLS) website, where it can take a number of days for new listings to appear.
Last month, the company added Southern California-based real estate firm Parker Properties to its platform, and also welcomed Royal LePage Kelowna, just a week after it added California's Century 21 Adobe Realty.
It has also inked service agreements with real estate agency OC Homes Realty from Southern California, Century 21 In Town Realty in Downtown Vancouver, and Southern California real estate firm Star Real Estate South County, this year.
The company in 2012 inked a deal to work with The Residential Group Realty (TRG Realty) of Vancouver and brought on Summit Realty Group, a full-service, commission brokerage specializing in residential real estate throughout the U.S.
In one of its most notable achievements last year, RESAAS received approval to include its real estate Q&A app in Microsoft's Window's 8 App Store. The company's platform is also available for Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone and for Google's (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android operating system for smartphones.
Under the latest deal, all Profusion Realty agents will receive their own corporate branded agent pages. In addition, the firm will have a Profusion Realty news page in order to broadcast information and remain in constant contact with Profusion Realty members onRESAAS' corporate social network.
