Wound Management Technologies (OTC:WNDM) said that the Military Shopping Channel has agreed to offer Wound's CellerateRX, a collagen-based wound applicator, as a featured product within its shopping service.
CellerateRX can be used in all the stages of the wound-healing process. It helps cuts, scraps, blisters, burns as well as diabetic ulcers by using collagen to speed up the time it takes to heal wounds.
The Military Shopping Channel, an online retailer specializing in products for military personnel, will launch the product on Sept. 1 to over 10 million eligible military dependents and retirees.
Wound Management said Marketing Media Enterprizes, a medical products distributor of the company's products, would fill out the CellerateRX gel orders.
Chief Executive of Wound Management, Scott Haire, said: "We are pleased and proud that our advanced wound care product is being offered to a segment of our population that has given our country so much."
"CellerateRX is easy to apply, FDA cleared for use on all wounds except third degree burns, and is cost effective.
"This can be an ideal product for active service personnel and veterans who need to manage their wounds at home or in the field."
Wound Management is an emerging commercial-stage company with its primary products in the $5 billion advanced wound care market. The company has a patented bone wax line that is in late stages of development.
The Fort Worth, Texas-based company’s stocks traded at $0.399 Friday late morning on the over the counter market.
