Wound Management Technologies (OTCQB:WNDM) reported Tuesday that its president, Deborah Hutchinson, will be presenting at AdvaMed 2011: The MedTech Conference, on Wednesday, September 28.
The presentation will be at 9:10am ET in Room 204A of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
Hutchinson's presentation will cover the wound care company's 2011 results and offer insight into the growth opportunities for the company's products, both domestically and internationally.
AdvaMed 2011 brings a number of big-names to the event, with this year's speakers to include President George W. Bush, Secretary Kathleen Sebelius of the Department of Health and Human Services, and  Dr. Jeffrey E. Shuren, Director of Center for Devices and Radiological Health, FDA, among others.
Wound Management said that scheduled meetings have been arranged for the company, with several dozen potential marketing firms, investment groups, distribution partners, and commercialization groups, specializing in both national and international markets.
The goal of these meetings is to develop strategic partnerships to increase sales of patented collagen product CellerateRX and to assist in research and development of new product initiatives, it added.
"We are honored to present the Wound Management story at an event that features such notable dignitaries as President Bush, Secretary Sebelius and Governors Daniels and O'Malley, among others," stated Hutchinson.
"AdvaMed 2011 is a great opportunity for Wound Management to showcase its advanced wound care solutions to an audience of thought leaders from both industry and finance and to report on the substantial progress being made."
