Licensed sports merchandise retailer Dreams (AMEX:DRJ) reported on Thursday that the company has been invited to present at Craig-Hallum’s 2nd Annual Alpha Select Conference to take place in New York City.
The conference, which plans to showcase more than 50 small and micro cap companies, will be held at the Roosevelt Hotel on Oct. 6, 2011.
Dreams President and Chief Executive, Ross Tannenbaum, is set to present on Thursday Oct. 6 at 4:10 p.m. Eastern time, with one-on-one meetings held throughout the day.
The presenting companies encompass four general sectors: consumer, healthcare, services and technology along with many special situation opportunities.
A live webcast of the presentation will be available on the investor relations section of Dream’s website at www.dreamscorp.com.
Dreams' e-commerce division, which includes FansEdge.com and other websites, has been an increasing focus for the firm. The division manages over 65 online fan shops, selling licensed sports merchandise from the NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB, and NCAA.
Shares of Dreams rose 3 cents higher, or 1.46%, to $2.08 late Thursday afternoon on the American Stock Exchange.
