Respect Your Universe featured on Sporting Goods Weekly cover

Respect Your Universe (OTCBB: RYUN), an apparel and equipment company geared towards the mixed martial arts and athletic demographic, said Tuesday that it was featured on yesterday's cover of Sporting Goods Intelligence Weekly, a newsletter distributed to nearly 11,000 sporting goods retailers in the US.
The Las Vegas-headquartered company, which was founded in 2008, announced this month the introduction of its new high performance apparel line and the beginning of "The Age of RYU". It now has several pre-launch items on sale at its online web store www.respectyouruniverse.com, including graphic t-shirts and headwear beanies.
All of the apparel items and products have been produced from organic and/or recycled materials, while achieving the performance attributes desired by Mixed Martial Arts fighters and everyday athletes.
The company said it has already been receiving positive feedback from various media outlets, and expects additional media coverage in the upcoming weeks and months ahead.
"It is great to be getting in front of the U.S. retailers like those who receive SGI Weekly so they can see our limited edition pre-launch items now available for purchase and read more information about our spring 2012 Men's Line for their customers," said CEO, Christopher Martens.
"So far, the media response to RYU has been extremely positive and we are excited about the additional features being released soon."
Written for sporting goods companies and brokerage firms, SGI Weekly provides news, analysis and business information for the sporting goods industry and covers earnings, public offerings, acquisitions, legal and trade issues and more. The company also said it had one of their new apparel images placed on the Reuters screen in New York Times Square and at Las Vegas Fashion Mall earlier this month, for a total of nine times to coincide with the release of their launch announcement.
